Adult Changes in Thought Study

Data Query Tool

Once you’ve familiarized yourself with the Adult Changes in Thought (ACT) cohort and the types of data available via the ACT Data Repository, you can explore the feasibility of your specific research questions using the ACT Data Query Tool.

The Data Query Tool allows you to directly query aggregate summaries of data from the most recent ACT data freeze (updated approximately every 2 years). To assess the approximate sample size of available ACT participants meeting your eligibility criteria, you’ll be able to apply a series of filters including:

  • Demographic filters (e.g., age, sex, race, etc.)
  • Health status filters (e.g., weight, body mass index, comorbidity history, etc.)
  • Functional performance filters (e.g., activities of daily living, physical performance, etc.)
  • Cognitive status filters (e.g., Cognitive Abilities Screening Instrument [CASI] global cognition score, dementia diagnosis, etc.)

We highly encourage researchers to explore the feasibility of using the Data Query Tool before reaching out to an ACT collaborator or submitting a formal data request form.
